![]() ![]() The second school was built on section 20 and was moved after school reorganization to Sheldon township for a hall. The third year a one room school was built on section 11 which was later moved to section 9 where it still stands and is the present township hall. The first school was held in a lean-to on the Hallsten Cabin on what is now the Reese Cudworth farm the next year in a granary on the Milne farm. The school district in this township was called Rocky Mountain which had two schools. It is noted that they paid $3 a day for a man and $2 a day for a two horse team for road work in those days.
